Occupational Therapist

Bella completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2023, with placements in a paediatric clinic, community-based adult and aged care and acute mental health settings, and first joined the AFOT team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant before graduating.

Bella has previous experience working with children as an OOSH educator and support worker. Bella finds it extremely rewarding to see children achieve their goals through play and activities that they find meaningful. To be able to encourage kids to try new things and gain confidence in their abilities is important to her role as a therapist.  Art and creativity are also very important to Bella, and she loves fostering a child’s creative interests in therapy.

Fun fact: Bella is quite the artist.. she grew up loving all things art and drawing, and still likes to draw and paint with watercolours in her spare time.
