Emma is an Occupational Therapy Assistant who is currently studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle. She found her passion for Occupational Therapy whilst volunteering at Riding for the Disabled in their hippotherapy course, providing therapy for children through the therapeutic use of horses. Emma also worked as a trail guide leader, taking children and their families horse riding and helping run kids camps.
Through these opportunities, Emma has developed a love of working with children and their families, finding it particularly rewarding being able to help them learn new skills and increase their confidence.
Fun fact: Emma has a twin sister who is identical to her. Some people have no idea who is who!
