Groups can be an excellent way to focus on specific areas of development in a fun and motivating environment. They provide an opportunity for your child to learn and practice particular skills through therapist directed learning and peer interactions.
Ability Focus Occupational Therapy are continually developing group programs to meet a range of needs in the community. We also have the privilege of developing groups with other health professionals such as Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
We are so excited to announce our very first group program since the easing of restrictions associated with COVID-19.
This 5-week group program is centred around developing gross motor skills such as balance, coordination, strength and endurance, as well as incorporating social skills, emotional regulation and executive functioning skills.
So if your child loves to crash and roll, leap and bound, catch and kick, chat and play or simply show off their ninja moves, then this is the group for them! Please get in touch for further information.
