Occupational Therapist/Clinical Team Leader
Sarah completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle in 2017. During placement opportunities she has enjoyed working with people of all ages in the mental health, rehabilitation and paediatric sectors. Her work as a swimming instructor further cemented her passion for pursuing a career as a paediatric Occupational Therapist. Working with the AFOT team has provided the perfect opportunity for Sarah to fulfill her dream of working with children and their families to help the individual child to reach their full potential. Sarah’s long term commitment to Surf Lifesaving at both a local and state level has led to many opportunities to mentor aspiring young lifesavers so that they too can reach their goals.
Fun fact: Sarah’s dogs love being the centre of attention and they look forward to being dressed up in different costumes for their annual Christmas calendar!
